Bray Wyatt’s WWE Return - Extreme Rules 2022 (Wells Fargo Center)

The show looks to be coming to an end, following the main event fight pit between Matt Riddle & Seth Rollins. With questions still remaining about the ‘white rabbit’ that was said to reveal itself during the show.

Following the conclusion of the main event, A shot of the winner of the main event Matt Riddle, with special guest referee Daniel Cormier before going behind the curtain. Riddle’s arm is raised by Cormier at the entrance ramp to signal the end of the event, with many still confused about the ‘white rabbit’.

The lights then go out in the arena. The camera lights from mobile phones fill the arena. “He’s got the whole world in his hands” starts to play in an eerie tone around the Wells Fargo Center. The anticipation in the air of if this is Bray Wyatt and where he will appear if so.

A spotlight goes between different members of the Firefly Funhouse characters that appear to have come to life. From Mercy the Buzzard to Sister Abigail and even The Fiend himself. The Wyatt 6 announce themselves to the WWE Universe.

Darkness once again fills the arena. A light appears through a door on the stage of the entrance ramp. The door slams open to unveil a figure holding a lantern as did Bray Wyatt with the Wyatt Family and with his Fiend persona in previous WWE appearances.

The figure moves out of the door onto the ramp. The anticipation and tension can be felt through the screen. A new mask appears on the figure, almost a mixture of a horror movie mask and the Green Goblin mask from the MCU. Tension fills the air as the mask is taken off to reveal Bray Wyatt, the crowd responds with a deafening ovation from the crowd in Philadelphia.

A look into the camera as if to say “I’m back” along with the trademark blowing out of the lantern light into darkness. The black out signals the end of the Premium Live Event. A game changing return to make the end of the Extreme Rules event, with one of the biggest draws in the industry back with a return unlikely to be forgotten. A creative masterpiece of a return, showing the potential of what is to come from Bray Wyatt.

The new era under Triple H continues with the return that is sure to be the flavour of the month with WWE fans.
