Adam Copeland AEW Debut - Wrestledream 2023 (Climate Pledge Arena)

Following the shock conclusion of the Wrestledream main event between Christian Cage & Darby Allin for the TNT Title. With Nick Wayne’s shock heel turn on his mentor Darby Allin, helping Christian retain his beloved TNT Title. 

The newly formed group of Nick Wayne, Christian & Luchasaurus, decide they are not done with “The Icon '' Sting after he came to the aid of his longtime partner in AEW Darby Allin. Adding insult to injury for Sting as the trio look to hit a conchairto to the wrestling legend.  

Christian looks round the Climate Pledge Arena as if he wants as many eyes on him as possible, for what he is about to do. Excalibur heard pleaing on commentary when saying “no, no, not to Sting”. As then the lights go out in the arena. 

The crowd is electric as they anticipate what will happen next. Who could it be? Is it the man who has been speculated for months? The screen fills with black and red flame like patterns as the words “OUR FEATURE PRESENTATION” come into centre screen. 

A figure appears getting into an American muscle car, which they begin to drive around the city of Seattle in the night. RATED R appearing on one shot of the road from above - greeted with loud cheers inside the arena and people’s minds begin to believe. 

Continuing through the Seattle nightlife and cobbled streets, parking up next to the Climate Pledge Arena, which can be seen in the distance. The figure steps out of the car, closing the door with intent as the screen goes black. 

Cutting back to the arena with a puzzled and concerned looking Christian Cage in the middle of the ring. Nick Wayne and Luchasarus share these same emotions, looking around the arena for answers. 

“YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME” echoes in the arena as the crowd erupts. With a look of disbelief on the face of Cage as he begins to realise who this is.  

Smoke machines, shock and surprise fill the arena of over 7,000 people as the Rated R Superstar emerges from the smoke. Greeted with deafening cheers, people jumping up and down in excitement to see the WWE Hall of Famer. 

Formally known as Edge in WWE, with the familiar sound of Metalingus to accompany him, Adam Copeland takes a moment to take it in at the top of the ramp. With him then doing his signature pose with the backdrop of pyro and smoke, with ecstatic fans seen on either side of the eleven time world champion. 

Copeland steps through the ropes as if to confront Cage, although then asking for the steel chair in Cage’s hand. Sting lays helpless and it seems the Rates R Superstar will do the unthinkable. Then switching to use the chair on Nick Wayne & Luchasaurus as Christian quickly exits the ring. 

Carrying on his attack, Copeland then springs off the ropes with a thunderous spear to Luchasaurs onto the chair. Followed by a spear to Nick Wayne, greeted with the roar of approval from the crowd. 

“The Rated R Superstar is in AEW '' says Taz on commentary. Followed by “Adam Copeland has arrived “ by Excalibur. 

Christian then seen clinging to his precious TNT Title as Metalingus plays in the background. All while Copeland stares Cage down from the ring, as if he and his TNT championship are next.
