Denver Broncos vs New York Jets (NFL Week 6 - London Games 2025)

1ST QUARTER

13:38 ON THE CLOCK: The first drive of the game doesn’t go to plan for Denver as they fumble the ball on 3rd & 7. The fumble was then recovered by the Jets as they dived on the ball. With the resulting drive only managing to move just past the 35 yard line for the Jets. With a 4th down field goal attempt as a result which was good from 52 yards by Kicker Nick Folk. The Jets took an early lead of 0-3. 

8:00 ON THE CLOCK: The Broncos did not take long to get their first points on the club as Bo Nix found RJ Harvey on 3rd & 14. However, they were unable to get the yardage needed so another field goal was needed. The Broncos Kicker from 57 yards was also good by Will Lutz to level the game. Broncos 3-3 Jets. 

7:03 ON THE CLOCK: As the Broncos kicked the ball back to the Jets following their field goal, the kick return from returner Kene Nwangwu reached near the 20 yard line. Although the next set of downs do not amount to anything but another field goal. Nick Folk made no mistake again this time from 41 yards. The Jets led 3-6. 

1:44 ON THE CLOCK: A 4th & 5 just past midfield had the Broncos offense still on the pitch as they went for it. Evan Engram caught the ball to give them a new set of downs after a good offensive play by Denver. Another 3rd & 5 followed with Engram catching the ball again for a first down with 30 seconds left in the 1st quarter. As time ran out in the 1st quarter Bo Nix found a wide open Nate Adkins within 5 yards for the first touchdown of the game. Broncos 10-6 Jets. 

2ND QUARTER

The 2nd quarter resulted in no further scores in the first half with both defenses managing to stop any significant drives from either side. Neither team even made it to within field goal range with midfield being the place for most of the action in the 2nd quarter. 

With 1:00 on the clock before halftime, the Jets tried to fake a punt to get the 1 yard they needed for a first down which they managed to do. Although the resulting downs didn’t go anywhere again as they went into halftime with the score still 10-6. 

HALFTIME - DENVER BRONCOS 10 - 6 NEW YORK JETS

3RD QUARTER 

10:34 ON THE CLOCK: The second half started in the same way the first half did for the Jets with a positive drive. However, it ended in the same way for the Jets also as they had to kick another field goal. This time it was from 38 yards with the same result again as Nick Folk kept his 100% record in the game. The Jets moved to within 1, the score was 10-9 to the Broncos. 

5:02 ON THE CLOCK: A 1st & 10 for the Broncos on their 3 yard line led to an unexpected score for the Jets. WIth flags coming in at the end of the play to signal a holding foul by the offense against the Broncos. As the foul occurred in the endzone it resulted in a safety. Therefore, the Jets received 2 points and ended the play with the lead. Broncos 10-11 Jets. The Broncos became their own enemies as they conceded the lead through their own unforced errors. 

5:15 ON THE CLOCK: The Broncos managed to put together a meaningful drive to inside the 10 yard line and almost had the needed touchdown on 3rd & GOAL. However, the throw was just over the head of WR Courtland Sutton. However, they were able to kick a field goal once again to take the lead once again and make it 13-11. 

1:14 ON THE CLOCK: With the Jets chasing the game and running out of time they had to go for it on 4th down to try and get into at least field goal range. However, the 4th & 8 from the 44 yard line ended in the worst possible way for the Jets as Justin Fields was sacked. The time expired as a result with no time outs left for the Jets and the Broncos back with the football. The Broncos’ defence with the resilience at the end to make the stop before the Jets were able to make it into field goal range for the win. A hard fought victory for Denver as they moved to 4-2 for the season with the winless streak for the Jets continuing as they went to 0-6. 

FINAL SCORE: DENVER BRONCOS 13 - 11 NEW YORK JETS
