Los Angeles Rams vs Jacksonville Jaguars (NFL Week 7 - London Games 2025)
1ST QUARTER
8:00 ON THE CLOCK: The Rams first drive of the game had them close to the 20 yard line on 4th & 3. They elected to go for it and kept the offense on the field, which proved to be the right decision as Rams QB Stafford found Kyren Williams for the first down. The drive continued with a 2nd & GOAL from the 5 for the Rams. Stafford once again was able to make the play as he floated the ball towards WR Konata Mumpfield, who managed to keep his feet inbounds for the touchdown. The first score of the game gave the lead to Los Angeles as they led 7-0.
1:55 ON THE CLOCK: Following another difficult drive for Jacksonville, the Rams were 1st & GOAL near the goal line after good plays from Matthew Stafford to Davante Adams, Colby Parkinson and Xavier Smith. Smith being the 7th different receiver that Stafford had thrown the ball to within the first quarter of the match. From the 1st & GOAL, Stafford once again floated the ball in the endzone. This time he found Devante Adams for the second touchdown of the match to extend the lead for LA to 14-0.
2ND QUARTER
10:15 ON THE CLOCK: A punt from the Rams landed in the hands of Parker Washington just over 10 yards past midfield. He was able to return the ball all the way to the endzone for what appeared to be a first touchdown for the Jaguars. However, his celebrations were cut short due to a flag on the play for an illegal block. The great run and return amounted to nothing for the Jags as they went back to no points for the game.
7:02 ON THE CLOCK: The first half seemed to keep getting worse for Jacksonville as they were unable to keep their drives going towards the endzone. This was then added to due to the missed field goal attempt by Cam Little as he dragged the kick left from 50 yards. The score remained Rams 14-0 Jaguars.
5:48 ON THE CLOCK: A 1st & 10 from the 17 yard line for the Rams seemed to fool some Jaguars defenders with a single pass from Stafford taking out 5 defenders from the play. The pass reached TE Colby Parkinson again, who ran through multiple tackles to drive his way into the endzone but he was just short when reviewed by the officials. Although, the second try from Stafford in the next plays once again found the hands of Davante Adams for his second touchdown of the game. Los Angeles 21-0 Jacksonville.
1:53 ON THE CLOCK: The first meaningful drive from the Jaguars just before half time as they managed to get themselves within field goal range and more on the 11 yard line. Despite their best efforts they decided to go for it on 4th down, which Trevor Lawrence decided to run himself but he was well short of the first down. As a result the Jaguars went into half time without scoring a point.
HALF TIME - LOS ANGELES RAMS 21 - 0 JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
3RD QUARTER
10:40 ON THE CLOCK: The second half was started well by the Jaguars as they looked to try and get on the board. However, on 4th & 2 the Jags went for it again near the 30 yard line but the pass was incomplete by Trevor Lawrence. There appeared to be miscommunication amongst the Jaguars receivers and QB as the ball didn't seem to go where it was meant to go.
4TH QUARTER
11:19 ON THE CLOCK: After various drives from both teams that amounted to either punts to the opposition team or possession back to the opposing teams, the ball was near the 35 yard line for the Rams on 4th & 5. A good decoy shout from Stafford made the Jaguars jump too quickly causing a flag against the defence. As a result a 4th & 1 was awarded to the Rams with Stafford given time to look around and pick his receiver to throw to. With the free time, Stafford threw a dime of a pass to Terrance Ferguson as he ran into the endzone. Another touchdown pass for the Rams QB who was having a great day on offence. The Rams led 28-0.
9:14 ON THE CLOCK: A good offensive drive by the Jaguars with good throws by Lawrence, with some great and vital catches by Travis Hunter and Parker Washington. That led to 2nd & 2 within 35 yards for the Jags, with space and time given to Trevor Lawrence he was able to throw a perfect pass in between 3 defenders to Travis Hunter. He ran into the endzone to give Jacksonville their first points of the day. With just over 9 minutes left the score was 28-7.
5:03 ON THE CLOCK: The Jaguars had been their own worst enemy for a large portion of the match with how many flags they conceded at unnecessary and crucial times in the match. A 3rd & 6 for the Rams seemed to go nowhere and a possible field goal to kick but a foul from the Jags forced another flag to be thrown. As a result the Rams moved close to the goal line. With just less than 5 minutes left the Rams extended their lead again with Davante Adams getting his third touchdown of the game to make it 35-7.
1:55 ON THE CLOCK: A last gasp drive from the Jaguars to make the score closer before the end of the game. Another 4th down inside the 15 for the Jags was tipped twice by the Rams defenders in the endzone. That almost ended up in the hands of WR Dyami Brown but was just short. With under 2 minutes left possession was back with the Rams and signalled the end of the game.
A dominant victory from start to finish for the LA Rams with a commanding lead in every quarter of the match. The Jags appeared to be their own worst enemies at times with multiple fouls either costing them points or putting the ball back in the hands of Stafford who punished them. Also some missed opportunities for the Jags with multiple missed 4th down opportunities. However, the Rams were clinical and controlled the game with both their offence and defense. The touchdowns being scored by rookies and 3 for Davante Adams showed their dominance in the match and deserved winners.
FINAL SCORE - LOS ANGELES RAMS 35 - 7 JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
