Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers - (NFL Week 10 2025/26)

1ST QUARTER

11:00 ON THE CLOCK: The opening drive of the game for the Baltimore Ravens was eventful to say the least. The first play of the game was a gain of nearly 25 yards for the Ravens by Derrick Henry but that was pulled back for a blindside foul by Zay Flowers and given a 15 yard penalty.

However, that did not stop the Ravens from moving up the field as they continued to run the ball with Henry and Lamar Jackson getting crucial yards as well. Further down the field a 3rd & 3 was handed to RB Rasheen Ali but he was unable to get the yards needed. The Ravens then decided to go for it on 4th & 3 in a bold move so early in the game. That gamble paid off when Lamar Jackson floated the ball over the defenders to the hands of WR Devontez Walker in open space to walk the ball into the endzone. Ravens 7-0 Steelers.

2ND QUARTER

14:18 ON THE CLOCK: 3rd & 5 on the 22 yard line didn’t go as planned for the Ravens as Lamar Jackson looked to run the ball again but was stopped by a good tackle from rookie DT Derrick Harmon. The Ravens decided to try for the field goal which was good from 40 yards by kicker Tyler Loop to make it 10-0.

9:40 ON THE CLOCK: A 3rd & 6 for the Steelers on the 39 yard line after a great run from Jaylen Warren on the previous play got them into Ravens territory. On the 3rd down Rodgers tried to run himself with the ball but he was thrown out of bounds by LB Tavius Robinson. The Steelers tried for a 57 yard field goal by Chris Boswell which he made and reduced the score to Ravens 10-3 Steelers.

0:02 ON THE CLOCK: As the first half came to an end, Pittsburgh continued to move the ball steadily down the field. Following good plays by Rodgers to run the ball himself for the first down and RB Kenneth Gainwell to get important first downs, the Steelers were on the 1 yard line. Rodgers elected to hand the ball back to Gainwell but he was not able to get past the Ravens defense, in particular safety Alohi Gilman who dragged him down before he could advance to the endzone.

HALF TIME - BALTIMORE RAVENS 10 - 3 PITTSBURGH STEELERS

3RD QUARTER

8:25 ON THE CLOCK: The Steelers started the second half looking determined to get a touchdown on the board. They advanced up the field thanks to catches from TE Pat Freiermuth and WR Adam Thielen to get them crucial first downs. As well as a great run from RB Jaylen Warren which would also lead to an eventual first down. The Steelers then decided to go for the tush push on the 1st & GOAL. They were able to counter act on the Ravens defense not being completely ready for the snap and were able to make it across the goal line for the touchdown. The game was tied at Ravens 10-10 Steelers.

4:31 ON THE CLOCK: The Ravens tried to take the lead again and were on 3rd & 9 near their 40 yard line. Lamar Jackson looked for the pass but it was blocked and deflected back towards him and ended up in the hands of the rushing T.J. Watt. A great block by Cameron Heyward stopped the pass and the interception proved vital by the end of the game.

Both defenses stood firm by the end of the play as Baltimore’s defence stopped a possible touchdown. Another stop by safety Alohi Gilman prevented Freiermuth from making the catch. However, the Steelers did take the lead with a close range field goal by kicker Chris Boswell. Ravens 10-13 Steelers.

4TH QUARTER

8:53 ON THE CLOCK: Following consecutive first downs for the Ravens with Lamar Jackson throwing to WR Zay Flowers, the Ravens were in a good position to score points on their drive. The ball was at the midfield line as Lamar Jackson powered through tackles and not only saved the sack attempt but found Zay Flower again down field. He was open and running into empty space as he caught the ball and went into the endzone for the touchdown. A terrific effort from Lamar Jackson on the 3rd down with his partnership with his star receiver proving pivotal again for Baltimore. Ravens 17-13 Steelers.

3:53 ON THE CLOCK: With time running out the Steelers needed to make a drive count or their season would soon be coming to an end. Luckily, they continued to advance with a crucial catch TE Freiermuth on 3rd down to make it 1st & GOAL. As well as an important run from RB Jaylen Warren with 15 yards by himself to make it to a first down. The 3rd & GOAL from inside the 2 yard line was handed off to RB Kenneth Gainwell who ran down the side before a gap opened up in the defense to go into the endzone. With just under 4 minutes left Pittsburgh retook the lead 17-20.

2:30 ON THE CLOCK: A 3rd & 1 from inside their own 40 yard line for the Ravens. Lamar Jackson moved back into space before launching a long throw forward to a wide open Zay Flowers once again downfield. He caught the ball just past the 35 yard line and ran into the open space and into the endzone.

Baltimore had to wait for a brief moment as a flag was thrown on the play. However, the foul was committed by the Steelers and the Ravens could resume their celebrations. With just over 2 minutes left the tide changed again and momentum moved back to Baltimore with a lead of 24-20.

1:00 ON THE CLOCK: WIth time running out and the Steelers down by 4 points, a touchdown was the only option to keep the game alive. A 2nd & 2 near the 40 yard line was attacked well by Kenneth Gainwell once again as he drove through tackles to ensure a first down. Pittsburgh had used all of their time outs so they needed to get into position as quickly as possible to stop the clock.

The ball was in the hands of Aaron Rodgers at the 26 yard line on 3rd & 10. He took a moment, assessed his options and floated the ball to a wide open Calvin Austin III. He caught the ball as he entered the endzone for the touchdown to give the Steelers the lead yet again.

However, the drama of this to and fro game didn't end there. The extra point attempt by kicker Chris Boswell went wide right! An unexpected turn in the game with an uncharacteristic mistake from Boswell who hadn’t missed an extra point attempt all season. With that the Ravens had a chance to win the game if they could get into field goal range. Ravens 24-26 Steelers.

0:02 ON THE CLOCK: In a chaotic end to the game Baltimore was able to make it to field goal range from 44 yards. They were able to make it there due to a fantastic return on kickoff by WR Keaton Mitchell, who was able to make it just shy of midfield.

From the 50 yard line, it was 4th & 7 with the last attempt for the Ravens to keep the game going. Lamar Jackson floated the ball with hopes that one of his receivers could catch the ball. The throw was high and the outstretched arms of TE Isaiah Likely managed to pluck the ball out of the air and into his grasp.

The game and the season of both teams was in the balance as kicker Tyler Loop stepped up. As time expired the ball was snapped and Loop was unable to make the kick as it went wide right. The Steelers survived a scare and moved on to the wild card play offs. Unfortunately for the Ravens their season came to an end with a 24-26 loss in Pittsburgh. An unbelievable game which was end to end with no stop action and went down to the wire. An incredible way for the regular NFL season to come to an end. The road to the Super Bowl will now begin.
